Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 30th August 2025

By booking services with Trussed Entertainment, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These apply to all DJ bookings, sound hire services, and event collaborations.

1. Booking Confirmation

  • No booking is confirmed until a deposit or full payment is received.

  • Availability is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Verbal or written inquiries do not guarantee reservation of any date or service.

2. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 30–50%) is required to secure your booking.

  • Full payment must be completed at least 7 days before the event, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal, or other approved methods.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing (via email).

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferable at Trussed Entertainment’s discretion.

  • Full payments may be partially refundable depending on the cancellation notice period:

    • More than 30 days before: 70% refund (excluding deposit)

    • 14–30 days before: 50% refund

    • Less than 14 days: No refund

4. Equipment Hire Terms (if applicable)

  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition as received.

  • The client is responsible for the security and appropriate use of hired equipment.

  • Damage or loss may incur additional repair or replacement charges.

5. Event Requirements

  • The client must ensure safe and suitable access to the venue for setup and breakdown.

  • Power supply, shelter (for outdoor events), and any required permits must be arranged by the client unless otherwise agreed.

  • Trussed Entertainment reserves the right to refuse performance in unsafe or inappropriate conditions.

6. Performance

  • Set times, genres, and playlists will be agreed in advance.

  • Reasonable music requests will be honoured, subject to time and suitability.

  • Any changes to the event schedule must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

7. Force Majeure

Trussed Entertainment is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside of our control (e.g. natural disasters, illness, equipment failure, transport disruptions). Reasonable efforts will be made to find a replacement or reschedule.
